Color Guard is a unique activity that combines artistry and athleticism. It is often referred to as "The Sport of the Arts". During the fall semester, the Color Guard joins the marching band on the field as we use dance, flags, movements, and props to add visual accompaniment to the marching band. In the spring semester, the Color Guard moves indoors (also called "Winter Guard"), performing to taped music as we compete with other Color Guards from around the state.
Color Guard 1st Semester Season (performing with the Band of Gold) runs July - November.
Winter season runs December - May.
