Band Room Duty
One Volunteer is needed every Tuesday and Thursday for marching band practice to sit in the band room while the band is practicing outside from 3-5:30pm. This is a great opportunity to volunteer, especially if you can bring work, a book, your laptop, etc. with you.
There are many opportunities to chaperone throughtout the year. It is a fun and exciting way to see all that goes into what your child does in the band.
Parents who wish to chaperone must be registered dividend volunteers with Seminole County Public Schools. Before parents can serve as chaperones, they must read and agree to abide by the Band Chaperone Guidelines below:
There are many other volunteer opportunities that are needed throughout the year in order for the band to be able to participate in various events. There are many opportunities for different interests and time availablities. Please feel free to contact the member of the committee located on the booster leadership page or the band president if you are able to help in any of the following areas:
As students graduate and parents move on, committee chairs become available. Working with chairpersons during the year helps learn the ropes for future years.
Help organize and sort future fundraising events.
For band camp pizza lunch, middle school night pizza dinner, games, concerts, and award banquet.
First Aid Tent
Help in the first aid tent for band camp and after school practices.

Provide baked goods, food, and ice pops (for band camp) throughout the year.
Hem or mend uniforms; help hang up uniforms when they come back from the cleaners.
